Solo developer. I build apps nobody asked for — and end up making them good enough that people stick around anyway. This is my website, disguised as 1997.

Short version: I'm Lars — a Danish indie maker, model year 1985, still in production. I build finished products on my own: idea to App Store, database to pixel, backend to the little "swoosh" when a button is pressed. The whole way round.
Slightly longer: I'm fondest of the projects nobody ordered. A quit-smoking app that asks you to wait a bit. Clever words on your lock screen. Exercise for those of us who don't run. A SaaS for people who polish cars. What they have in common: they ought to exist, so I built them.
The honest version: I love removing things. Half the work is deleting what shouldn't be there — including an old WordPress that just went in the bin. This page is a small piece of evidence itself: it looks like it was made in Netscape, but it runs on the newest thing the browser has.
